Sr. Patrol Leader – Andrew Jarrell        Asst.Sr. Patrol Leader - Alex Potter

Scout Leadership positions will be held 6-8- months….giving the opportunity for more scouts to learn from serving in a leadership position. Next elections to be held after summer camp.

FUND RAISING Candle Sales...5 scouts sold $1277. We get 43% of sales divided between the troop  and scouts according to their sales. Great job boys! Candles will be delivered in 4-6 weeks.

Potential fundraisers....Scouts can do can drives on their own. This is a great time of year with Memorial  Day and grad party's.  See attached flyer. Also, Multi-Lakes summer car show is a potential fundraiser with ice cream sales .

May 2, 3, 4 -CAMPING......this weekend @ Multi-Lakes with troop 160. Please call Mr. Davis ASAP if you are interested….248.719.2814

May 5-SUMMER CAMP  balance due May 5th  of $145.00.  PLEASE have your checks in by this time so Kelley Davis can get them sent in together.  There WILL be an extra charge of $30.00 due to the camp if payment is made later then that. OUCH!

May 16th FISH FRY  Need troop assistance at the fish fry every 6th Friday.. This happens every 6 weeks. Next fish fry is June 27.It is easy. Scouts simply show up at 5:15 in the kitchen. Dinner runs from 5:30-8:30.Some of the jobs include distributing food & helping at the salad bar. The Troop prefers that you wear your scout hat and class B T shirt (not scout pants). Scouts receive community service hours and it’s fun. It means a great deal to club members to see the scouts working there.

Let’s all join in and support our troop sponsor - Multi-Lakes Conservation Assn.

May 16,17,18 -  3rd weekend in T-17 CAMPING at Kensington

Please note -  we will be doing the fish fry on the 16th and then heading over to Kensington. Don't know the cost yet, but will soon.

MAY 19th -  COURT OF HONOR. Please check your books to see if there are any requirements that can be completed for rank advancement.  or if there are any req. that can be finished in earning a merit badge. Visit www.meritbadge.com to see a list of merit badges and the requirements. The merit badges are also listed in the scouts hand book.

Board of review request must be made to Mr. Woods by May 12th. This will allow time for turning in records and picking up patches, etc.

JUNE CAMPING   We will be joining T-222 for a water-fest @ Proud Lake, with canoeing. Cost for this will be announced at a later date.

PARENTS and GUARDIANS Adult help is needed to make scouting a success.  Please consider what merit  badge you would be interested in offering to our scouts. Your involvement is key to the success of our Troop. We really do need more Asst. Scoutmasters. To do that ----- sign up for a short, local, interesting, wonderful weekend training May 9-11. Sign up NOW.  Visit www.cvc-bsa.org  or call Clinton Valley Council 248- 338 -0035. We have canceled events simply because we do NOT have enough scout leaders.  Your participation is required when your scout is in the troop.

It is the right thing to do for you, your scout, and the troop.

Looking forward to more involvement with Packs through Den Chiefs and inviting packs to participate with our Troop in activities.  THANK YOU
