Wild Game Dinner 2006
OH, WHAT A “WILD GAME” NIGHT! When having the privilege of being a part of such a special event, it’s hard to know where to begin to give thanks. After many months of planning and so many people working together, this year’s Wild Game Dinner has demonstrated once again the spirit of Multi-Lakes Conservation Association. It’s with great pride that I acknowledge all those involved in helping to make this a truly unique dining experience, offering a wide variety of wild game to tantalize your taste buds, and to those who are already looking ahead to next year. We can’t have a wild game dinner without wild game, so to all those who shared in the prosperity of their hunts – THANK YOU! To the cooking staff and wild game committee who helped, usually at a moment’s notice, in the processing of the deer, fish, pheasants and other game received– THANK YOU! To IMP Printing for meeting all our printing needs with fast, accurate, and efficient service. They provided quality printing of all the tickets and placemats for this event (advertising plug) – THANK YOU! To all those who supported our club with the purchase and sales of dinner tickets – THANK YOU! And to those who helped make our raffles sales a success – THANK YOU! To the bar staff who covered the main bar and the guys who covered the mini bars (It’s good to see a little healthy competition between club members) – THANK YOU! Thank you, Larry, for your most generous donation of the freezer you won at meeting night! Thank you Prize Patrol: Don Priebe, Cal Kittinger, and Dan St.Aubin! Thank you to all our sponsors, especially Gander Mountain, for your very generous support. Thank you, Barry, for all the things you do behind the scene that help make an event like this go so smoothly. AND a very special thank you to Ken Langdon, whose past years of dedication and service to this club and committee inspired us to dig a little deeper and reach a little higher when contributing to OUR club….OUR future. You will always be the spark that remains in our hearts. I’m looking forward to continuing my role as a working member of this club and welcome all suggestions to improve and enhance this committee. Tastefully yours, Ed Rapin Wild Game Committee Chairman
